Partner’s apportioned income is used to complete
PA-20S/PA-65 Schedule
CP, and Line 16 of
the PA-20S/PA-65 Schedule CP will be carried to the PA-65-Corp. The partnership calculates the
tax at 9.99 percent (0.0999) for the corporation’s apportioned PA source income from the PA-
20S/PA-65 Schedule H-Corp that it completes for its corporate partners. The partnership enters
the total tax withheld on that corporation’s line. A copy of the PA-20S/PA-65 Schedule CP must
be provided for every corporate partner as evidence of the tax withheld. The total withholding
amount must be submitted to the PA Department of Revenue.
IMPORTANT:
Entities that are publicly traded, Real Estate Investment Trusts or
Regulated Investment Companies will not be subject to these withholding requirements.
