Geil Enterprises Inc. is seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistant to join its team. This key role
reports directly to the Human Resources Manager and is responsible for partnering with the divisions to
improve services to our employees and clients by managing: Global, Specialized and Auditing Activities.
This non-exempt position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, involves knowledge in
processing/tracking federal and state leaves (CFRA, FMLA, PDL, PFL, and SDI), working knowledge in
federal and state records retention, reporting Workers' Compensation claims, tracking OSHA log(s), and
maintaining accurate documentation. Supports the Human Resources staff in employment verifications,
background checks, drug screens, and orientation. Responsible for all data entry of personnel information
in GEI’s Human Resources Information System (Win Team) as well as accurately maintaining all Human
Resources files according to GEI standards. Responsible for running quarterly and monthly reports,
coordinating Employee Referral Program and maintaining the EPN and driving roster, as well as relief
and backup of the Front Office Receptionist.
Successful candidate will possess the ability to shift gears quickly while maintaining a high level of
accuracy and attention to detail; as well as the following qualifications OR any combination of
knowledge, skills and experience demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the job:
Post-secondary degree and 2-3 years’ experience as a Human Resources professional.
Bilingual-English & Spanish
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
Knowledge in Federal and State Laws.
Ability to interface with all levels of personnel within the organization.
Must maintain confidentiality as a primary job function.
Must successfully pass a drug test and background check.
