Basal-Bolus Insulin and Carbohydrate Counting
You may need a correction dose of rapid insulin if your sugars are out of
the target range. An example of this is if you did not take enough insulin
the last time you ate or you were sick.
Correction doses should not be needed all the time
if the baseline doses are set correctly.
