PARKING
1. Parking for all patrons, vendors, service providers, and event staff must be identified
2. Parking and buildings involved may be examined for ADA compliance
3. Use of all parking garages, parking lots and street parking must be identified
4. You may be required to provide a shuttle if the event places undue demands on surrounding parking areas

Boise Parks & Recreation may require additional information for road closures and parking.
Vehicles not in compliance with the parking permit may be towed.
For Events Downtown
Public parking is a priority for downtown businesses and it is important that the organizers of the event provide as much
access as possible to public parking, including access to parking for event participants. This includes a plan to
accommodate property owner’s access to and from their property. The economic impact when parking revenues are
disrupted due to lack of access to the public parking system and private lots should be considered when organizing your
event.

FIRE DEPARTMENT PERMIT APPLICATION
You will need to fill out this application if your event will have:

Tents 400 square feet or larger
Pyrotechnics or fireworks

Inflatables (i.e. balloons) or inflatable structures (i.e. jump houses)
