Welcome to Irvington High School: Frank H. Morrell Campus! Our teachers, administrators and staff, as well
as your parents, have a shared vision of high expectations for you and you play an integral role in this process.
Therefore, we encourage you to immerse yourself fully into the Irvington High School community. First and
foremost, it is vital that you attend school daily, arrive to school and classes on time, complete all assignments,
receive academic and social/emotional assistance, and follow the expectations to be REAL (Respectful,
Empathetic, Achievers, and Lifelong Learners). Also, your involvement in the school community at Irvington
High School is very important. This can be accomplished by becoming a member of an athletic team, club, or
program. Your active participation and membership in the aforementioned can improve your high school
experience and increase your chances of academic success.
It is important that you review this student handbook regularly. It will guide, assist, and inform you about our
rules, expectations, and procedures. You may also peruse this guide for a summary of course offerings,
graduation requirements, attendance and tardy policies, and more. If you have any questions about its contents,
please feel free to discuss it with your teacher, guidance counselor, administrator, or parent.
I look forward to contributing to your successful school year!
