Training for the Team
At this juncture, team members need to receive some training that will help them reach
their process improvement objective. The Team Leader or Quality Advisor should provide
training on how to operate effectively as a team as well as just-in-time training in the use of
statistical tools. All aspects of team formation and functioning are discussed in the DON
TQL course, Team Skills and Concepts. Statistical and process management tools is
explained in the Basic Tools for Process Improvement as well as in numerous DON TQL
courses.
